Program Details
- Enrollment in the eLearning program is done with PADI directly. The cost is $120 paid via a secure online payment system. Upon completion or during your online knowledge development, we ask that you visit us for a “meet & greet” and also so we can get you registered for your actual in-water training. The cost of your in-water training is paid directly to First Coast Divers. To give you credit for the independent work you are doing with the eLearning program, we offer the in-water training at a discounted rate compared to the cost of our traditional Open Water Diver Course.
- When you enroll in the eLearning program, you automatically become affiliated with First Coast Divers. There are many benefits to this but the primary one is that our in-house instructors have access to your training record and can monitor your progress as you work through the eLearning program. Furthermore, you too enjoy this unlimited access to your instructor via email, phone or person-to-person consultation.
- As with all Open Water Diver students, eLearners are required to furnish their own basic scuba gear during in-water training (mask, snorkel, fins & weight belt). Furthermore, eLEarners are required to purchase their own log book and whatever version of the Recreational Dive Planner (RDP) they choose to train with. Please come visit us and our scuba professionals will be very happy to assist you in selecting the gear that is best suited for you.
