Silhouette of Scuba Divers

My friends, as you all know, here at First Coast Divers our
community of divers are used to traveling to some of the most
unique dive destinations in the world. In keeping with that
expectation we are very excited to offer you this wonderful yet
very affordable liveaboard dive vacation adventure.

So…my interest is always peaked when I hear about a “off the
beaten path” dive destination. Something new and exciting that is
not on the dive travel radar. In the Caribbean, places like the
Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Roatan & Bonaire are always first to
come to mind. And for good reason, the diving in those places is
outstanding and they are easy to travel to. But within the
Caribbean Sea, there are hidden gems waiting to be discovered.

The Northeastern Caribbean is an intriguing area of multicultural
and native appeal. Islanders’ brightly painted fishing boats and
picturesque villages on top of these volcanic islands are only
rivaled by the colorful hues found underwater.

This itinerary allows ample time for our guests to explore forts,
rainforest, cultural attractions and more on land, without impacting
guests who choose to dive. The diving within the islands is
incredibly diverse and beautiful. Dive sites range from pristine
offshore pinnacles, walls and sand gullies with reef heads, to
historic wrecks encrusted with corals, sponges and sea fans. The
marine life offers divers multiple sightings of moray eels, hawksbill

turtles, jacks, barracuda and stingrays. Visitors will also find
frogfish, seahorses and nudibranchs buried in the reef along with
many other macro photographic opportunities.

For this adventure, we have partnered with Explorer Ventures to
set sail on their 115ft vessel Caribbean Explorer II for an
awesome 7-day itinerary. The Caribbean Explorer II features 9
air-conditioned staterooms, all with private bathrooms and
showers with most staterooms having outside views (window or
porthole). The upper deck contains the semi-enclosed dining and
entertainment area with TV, DVD, stereo and wet bar. The open
rear sun deck is furnished with lounge chairs for sunbathing; the
carpeted bow provides another convenient and quiet area for
sunning. Located on the main deck is the expansive dive deck
which easily accommodates all guests. It is equipped with a large
camera table, recharging station, a bathroom, rinse bins, warm
fresh-water showers and water fountain. There are two ladders
leading down to the dive platform and guest can enter the water
from either side of the dive deck.

So please join us!! We are super excited about this trip and we’d
love for you to join us. Space is limited to 16 guest (2 people per
stateroom) so don’t delay. Reserve your spot with your deposit.
