Join First Coast Divers for another unforgettable getaway dive weekend in Jupiter, Florida, perfectly timed with the Goliath Groupers who congregate among local wrecks located off Jupiter during their spawning season. Our dive charters will be operated by Jupiter Dive Center, giving you access to an experienced crew and exceptional local knowledge for a truly outstanding divingexperience.
During the weekend, divers will enjoy some of the finest drift diving in South Florida, effortlessly gliding along reefs and local wrecks such as the MG-111 River Barge. This site is renowned for up-close encounters with Goliath Groupers during their seasonal aggregation—an awe-inspiring sight as these gentle giants, weighing up to 500 pounds and reaching nearly eight feet in length, gather around Florida’s local wrecks.
This trip is open to certified Advanced Open Water divers who are also Enriched Air (Nitrox) certified. Not Enriched Air certified? No problem, we can easily help you complete your Nitrox certification before the trip.
Your weekend includes two nights of lodging at the Best Western Intracoastal in Jupiter, Florida, with complimentary continental breakfast each morning. You will arrive at your leisure on Friday night, and divers will enjoy two mornings of two-tank 8:00 AM boat departures on both Saturday and Sunday. As with all our trips, this weekend offers the perfect balance of exciting underwater adventure and relaxed social time, including the chance to connect with fellow divers during an optional group dinner on Saturday night.
The trip will be led by Lisa McGinley, PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, who will be there to offer support, whether you’re building new skills or simply enjoying the adventure, so you can relax and make the most of an unforgettable weekend underwater experiencing these gentle giants!
