First Coast Divers is proud to support multiple new professional-level divers every year. Otherwise known as the Divemaster Certification and/or Assistant Instructor, our professionals are supported by our incredible instructors and go on to do great things in the industry. If you’re interested in the Divemaster Certification or in becoming an Assistant Instructor, please call or come into the shop so we can get to know you and your goals.
Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. In this course, you will work closely with a PADI Instructor as you work to expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level.
Through classroom sessions and independent study, PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.
You will complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems. You will also put this knowledge into action through an internship here at First Coast Divers.
