From December 9–16, 2028, First Coast Divers will return to the beautiful Mayan Princess Beach & Dive Resort for our fifth group trip to this incredible Caribbean destination. After four amazing trips filled with spectacular diving, island relaxation, laughter, and friendships that continue long after we've returned home, we're excited to invite you to join us once again.
People often ask why we keep going back to the same place. The answer is simple—we love it there. The Mayan Princess has become a favorite destination for our dive family, offering the perfect combination of comfortable beachfront accommodations, outstanding service, easy access to world-class diving, and the laid-back island atmosphere that keeps drawing us back year after year.
Of course, the diving is a huge part of the experience. Roatán sits along the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest barrier reef system in the world, and offers vibrant coral formations, abundant marine life, dramatic walls, and warm, crystal-clear water. Whether you're logging your hundredth dive or exploring the Caribbean for the first time, there's something here that will leave a lasting impression.
But as many of our returning travelers will tell you, this trip is about more than what happens underwater. It's about spending a week with friends who share your passion for diving, making new connections, sharing meals and stories after the day's dives, and creating memories that become part of your diving journey.

Roatán rests on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest reef in the world—a living underwater paradise filled with colorful coral, turtles, eagle rays, and endless reef fish.
Expect warm waters in the low 80s°F, clear visibility up to 100 feet, and dive sites for every level—from shallow coral gardens to dramatic walls and wrecks, most just minutes away. Thanks to the island’s Marine Park, the reefs remain healthy and thriving for generations of divers to come.

2-bedroom / 2 Bath Beachfront Master Villa: $3299 pp/quad occupancy (these units are specifically for 2 couples to share the 2-bedroom villa)

Single Supplement: Plus $1400 (only available in the 1-bedroom King Garden View Villas)

Important Note About Airfare
As of this writing, we do not have finalized airfare pricing for this December 2028 trip. Airlines typically release flight schedules and fares no more than 11 months in advance. Based on trends over the past four years, round-trip airfare to and from Roatán has generally ranged between $750 and $850. For planning purposes, the rates listed above are based on an estimated airfare of $800 per person.
Once we secure the group airfare with American Airlines, the final trip cost may vary slightly—either higher or lower—depending on the actual fare at the time of booking.
If you prefer to book your own airfare (for example, if you plan to use flight credits or reward points), you're absolutely welcome to do so. In that case, simply deduct $800 per person from the listed trip price.
Please note: Reservations made fewer than 100 days before departure will not include group airfare. This is due to airline requirements for passenger counts well in advance. If you book after this deadline, you'll need to arrange your own flights, and you can again subtract $800 per person from the package price.

The deposit is non-refundable and will not be refunded for any reason. We are making a commitment to our travelers, so we expect our travelers to fulfill their commitment to us.

No additional funds will be returned if canceled within 10 months of the trip.

In the event someone needs to cancel, they can certainly transfer their secured booking to a replacement traveler and receive a full refund minus a 10% service fee.

All trip participants (divers only) are required to have their own personal Diver Supplemental Insurance. Again, we suggest either D.A.N. or DiveAssure.
